Where is New Zealand?

For the geographically impaired, New Zealand is southeast of Australia, and is a separate country from the aforementioned. It has its own customs, cultures, language and history. New Zealand is not a little-known territory in Scandinavia, and forestry is fast becoming a major industry, surpassing any business to do with sheep. There are 4 million people resident in the country and the two official languages are English and Maori. The national symbol is the native grub-eating flightless bird known as the Kiwi. Militarily New Zealand's Special Forces are the New Zealand Special Air Service (NZSAS) and New Zealanders played a major role in the founding of the SAS during World War Two. The adventureous spirit of your average New Zealander will naturally find several of them in the Zone at any given time. They are renowned for being able to consume beer like Russians drink vodka, while their inventiveness can be handy in times of desperation. Their tricks with number eight fencing wire and insulation tape have become legendary - usually around the bar after several jugs of the local brew.
